Red Lancer is an antiquarian specialising in antiques from the 18th and 19th centuries.

Our collection brings together historical objects selected for their authenticity, craftsmanship and character. Military antiques form an important part of the collection, alongside arms, uniforms, headgear, books and other objects connected to European history.

We are particularly drawn to objects that have survived with their original character intact — pieces that reveal something of the period in which they were made and the people for whom they were created.

A considered collection

We approach collecting with the same respect we have for the objects themselves. Condition, originality, provenance and historical context are considered carefully before an object enters the collection.

Rather than pursuing a particular period or category exclusively, we look for objects that stand apart through quality, rarity, design or historical significance.

Every object has a history. We seek out the ones worth keeping.
