1. General

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made from Red Lancer. By purchasing an item, the buyer agrees to these terms. Any mandatory rights provided by applicable consumer law remain unaffected.

2. Items and descriptions

Red Lancer specialises in antique arms, militaria and other historical objects. Because of their age, items may show wear, patination, repairs, restoration, replacement components or other evidence of their history.

Items are described to the best of our knowledge and ability. Statements concerning attribution, age, origin, maker, provenance or historical association are based on the information and research available to us at the time of sale.

Photographs form part of the description. Additional photographs, measurements or information can be requested before purchase.

3. Prices

All prices are stated in euros and include VAT where applicable, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Shipping, insurance, customs duties, import taxes and other charges associated with delivery are not included in the advertised price unless specifically stated.

4. Availability and reservations

All items are offered subject to availability.

An enquiry does not automatically reserve an item. An item marked Reserved is temporarily being held for a prospective buyer but has not necessarily been sold.

Red Lancer reserves the right to withdraw an item from sale before a purchase has been concluded.

5. Purchase and payment

A purchase is concluded when Red Lancer has accepted the order or otherwise confirmed the sale with the buyer.

Payment must be made using the agreed payment method and within the agreed period. Unless otherwise agreed, items will not be dispatched until payment has been received in full.

Ownership remains with Red Lancer until the full purchase price has been received.

6. Shipping and delivery

Shipping arrangements and costs will be agreed with the buyer before dispatch.

Items will be appropriately packed with consideration for their age, construction and value. Where appropriate, insured or tracked shipping may be recommended or required.

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by the carrier, customs procedures or other circumstances outside the reasonable control of Red Lancer.

7. International purchases and legal restrictions

Buyers are responsible for ensuring that an item may legally be purchased, possessed, imported and received in their country or jurisdiction.

This is particularly important for antique firearms, edged weapons and other objects that may be subject to national or local restrictions.

Where permits, licences, declarations or other documentation are legally required, the buyer is responsible for satisfying the applicable requirements unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Red Lancer reserves the right to decline a transaction or shipment where legal or regulatory requirements cannot reasonably be satisfied.

8. Returns and cancellation

Where a buyer has a statutory right of withdrawal or return under applicable consumer law, that right will be respected in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.

The buyer should notify Red Lancer promptly if they wish to exercise such a right. Returned items must be handled with appropriate care and returned in the condition in which they were received, subject to the buyer's statutory rights.

Different rules may apply where an item is purchased in person, commissioned, customised or otherwise falls within a statutory exception to a right of withdrawal.

9. Damage or problems upon delivery

The buyer is requested to inspect the item promptly after delivery and contact Red Lancer as soon as reasonably possible if the parcel or item has arrived damaged or if the item received materially differs from the agreed purchase.

Where shipping damage is suspected, the buyer should retain the item, packaging and shipping materials and provide photographs where possible so that a claim with the carrier or insurer can be investigated.

10. Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

Subject to applicable mandatory law, Red Lancer is not responsible for indirect losses resulting from circumstances outside its reasonable control.

11. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, photographs, descriptions, texts and other original material published on the Red Lancer website may not be reproduced or used commercially without prior permission.

12. Applicable law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Dutch law. Any mandatory consumer protections or jurisdictional rights applicable to the buyer remain unaffected
